We are looking to add a Senior Industrial Designer to our growing Product Development team. In this role you will be instrumental in the design, development and launch of category-defining protection solutions. You are a creative and motivated industrial design professional who will thrive in a quickly evolving and maturing product space. You will help us challenge the status quo of the PPE market to make high functioning yet elegant products that always keep user experience front and center. 



What You’ll Do in This Role

  • Conduct research to understand the intersection between market opportunity and user POV to inform all product design decisions
  • Ideate new products and features and develop early solutions sketches and prototypes
  • Finalize product design and work collaboratively with Product Development and Supply Chain team members to translate the design concept into a physical reality
  • Create and oversee successful product manufacturing plans
  • Play a leadership role in developing the physical design language of O2 Industries' evolving brand



What You Bring to This Role

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in industrial design
  • 5 to 10 years of industrial experience, ideally with experience in on-body wearables or related consumer product areas including fashion, medical devices, etc.
  • Track record demonstrating your ability to creatively solve complex ergonomic and mechanical problems
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a keen desire to try new things and work collaboratively to innovate
  • Proven experience employing user-centric design methodologies
  • Exceptional visual communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience developing/refining ideas through prototyping
  • Experience in 3D CAD modeling, with high level of surfacing proficiency
